100 Years of Scouting The Longs Peak Council delivers Scouting programs that develop character, citizenship, fitness and leadership skills to youth in northeastern Colorado, southeastern Wyoming and western Nebraska.

Cub Scouts - For boys in 1st through 5th grade.

Boy Scouts - For boys 11 years old through high school - outdoor oriented.

Venturing - For 14-21 year old guys and girls - adventure oriented.

The BSA has issued a memo clarifying federal reporting requirements regarding IRS Form 990-N.

* Project SOAR 2008
The 2008 SOAR Patch features the Long-billed Curlew and Orangethroat Darter.
It is available at Council Scout Shops.

* Insurance Certificate
All Longs Peak Council (non-LDS) units should print a copy of the 2008 HSR/BSA Insured Coverage Certificate and take it with them on all activities.

All campers, both youth and adult, at our Colorado camps are required to use the new standard Colorado Scout Camps medical forms:
  Boy Scouts - BDSR and EHAB
  Cub Scouts - Camp Jack Nicol
Old versions of the camp medical forms no longer meet BSA and State of Colorado requirements, and WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
