fleur Where Does The Money Go?

fleur 89% Goes to PROGRAM SERVICES
  • Direct Service to Scouting Units: Organizing and servicing the 600 Pack, Troops, Teams, Crews, Posts and Learning for Life Groups that make Scouting a reality for over 15,000 young people.
  • Camping and Activities: Program equipment, maintenance of Ben Delatour Scout Ranch, Camp Laramie Peak, Chimney Park and Camp Patiya and activities such as Scouting For Food.
  • Scoutreach: Scouting for low income and ethnic minority youth that serves over 2,100 young people who would not otherwise be in Scouting.
  • Service Centers: Three service centers in Greeley, Boulder County and Scottsbluff, and a Scout Store in Loveland provide event administration, program materials, registration, record keeping, uniforms, badges and awards.

fleur 8% Goes to FUNDRAISING
As United Way funding continues to decline, our Council must develop alternative sources of revenue such as Friends of Scouting, special events, foundation grants, and the endowment fund for Scouting.

fleur 3% Goes to ADMINISTRATION
A small management staff focuses the Council's resources to best meet the needs of our communities through volunteer recruitment, staff support and program management.
