RoundtableEveryone Roundtable
All leaders are encouraged to attend Roundtable to get ideas and information about our Scouting activities. This is also a great opportunity to meet other leaders in our district. 
The next Roundtable is:

    Pinewood derby season is here! The Three Rivers district Pinewood Derby will be held April 14th, 2012. A copy of the district Pinewood Derby rules can be found here. More information will be coming soon.

    2012 MBUBoy Scout Merit Badge University
    Registration for the Three Rivers 2012 MBU is now open! This year's MBU will be held on February 11th and March 3rd at Dayspring Christian School in Greeley. Eight different merit badges will be offered, in addition to LNT-101, and leader specific courses. On-line registration closes on January 31st - so sign up now.

    Boy Scouts Spring Camporee
    The Three Rivers 2012 Spring Camporee has been changed to April 27-29, 2012. Location and more details will be coming soon. 
     


    Shot-CowboyCubscouts Day Camp
    The theme for this year's Day Camp is "Frontier Days"! So plan on roundin' up them there Cubbys and Webelos, loading up the wagons, and heading down to Greeley this June! It isn't time to register yet, but we have a whole bunch of information for you to lasso up and present to your pack.

    Welcome to Billy Riley, our new Camping/Operations Director, and to Gary Shoemaker, our new Senior District Executive in Tri-Trails and High Plains districts.
     
    Farewell and all the best to Leslie Thibodeaux who was promoted to Director of Program at Northern Tier High Adventure Base, and to Andrew Olsen who was promoted to Development Director in Anchorage, Alaska.

    * New Tour Plan Filing Rules
    In response to concerns raised by unit leaders, the rules for filing a tour plan have been revised. Effective January 2, 2012, here are the new requirements.
     
    * Journey To Excellence Emblems
    JTE Gold Emblem
    JTE emblems are available, to be ordered, at all 3 Council stores.
    After you determine whether you need Gold, Silver or Bronze, call your nearest store to order.
    The order form and many other Journey To Excellence resources are available on the BSA's JTE webpage.

    * New Greeley Office Hours
    The Council's Farr Service Center in Greeley is now open from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
    We are now OPEN during lunch hour.
     
    * Project SOAR 2012 Soar Patch
    The 2012 SOAR Patch features the Golden Eagle, as a tribute to the 100th Anniversary of the first Eagle Scout Award badge in 1912.
    It will be first be available at the Fort Robinson Tree Plant.

    * BDSR Conservation Easement
    The wonderful natural environment of the 3,201 acre Ben Delatour Scout Ranch is now essentially protected forever from development.
    A huge thanks to those who worked for 7 years to make this happen!

    * Eagle Service Projects
    Eagle Scout rank requirement 5 has been reworded, and the BSA has a new Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook to support the change.
    Starting January 1st, Eagle Scout candidates must use the new workbook.

    The Council Risk Management Committee has published new Guidelines for the Use and Rental of Inflatable Jumpers, Bounce Houses, and Slides
