Upon completion of the Religious Emblem curriculum, a Scout is presented his medal in a church service, and may wear the purple religious knot on his uniform.

- The BSA Ready & Prepared Award
The BSA Ready & Prepared Award was developed to encourage and reward Boy Scout troops, Varsity Scout teams, and Venturing crews that incorporate safe practices while enjoying challenging activities.

To support its effort to have Scouting in every community in America, the BSA has introduced the William D Boyce New Unit Organizer Award.
- Awards (Knots) that can be earned by adults.
Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award
Tiger Cubs, Wolf and Bear Cub Scouts, and Webelos Scouts have the opportunity to earn the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award.The patch is worn on the right pocket flap of the Cub Scout’s or Webelos Scout’s uniform shirt.
