WØBSA
WØBSA is located in Camp Charles Jeffrey at the Ben Delatour Scout Ranch, Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. The station has antennas and transceivers with the capability of receiving and transmitting on 70 cm, 2, 6, 10, 15, 20, 40 and 80 meters.
The station has made contact with other amateur radio operators around the nation and in other countries including Argentina, Scotland, and Russia. During the 2009 worldwide "Jamboree-on-the-Air", forty plus contacts were made coast to coast with Scout groups from the USA and Canada.
WØBSA is in operation during summer camp weeks in June and July, on the Jamboree-on-the-Air weekend in October, and at other times when licensed operators are available. It is expected that WØBSA will operate remotely from the site of the Longs Peak Council's 100th BSA anniversary camporee in September 2009.
