Please note the adult supervision required for these events:
- BSA Regulations require 1 adult per 5 Cub Scouts, with a minimum of 2 adults per group.
- Individual registrations require an accompanying adult.
- Tiger Cub Days require 1 adult per family.
Saturday, September 13
BB Gun and Archery Day was designed
to help Webelos earn the BB Gun or
Archery Sports Pin. This is a long day
concentrated in either BB guns or Archery.
You will spend the entire day focusing
on that one event and should
earn the sports pin before leaving
camp. There are no other activities going
on these days.
Lunch and all program
equipment will be provided.
Please do not bring your own shooting
equipment (bows, arrows or BB guns).
You must choose whether you
will be doing BB guns or Archery
on the day you are there.
There will not be time to do
both in one day.
Cost for Webelow BB / Archery Day:
$20.00 per Scout
Adults are free!
Program will begin promptly at
10:00 am and will run until
4:00 pm. There is room for
only 15 in each session on
each Saturday, so get your
reservations
in early!
These sessions will be held at Jack Nicol Cub Scout Family Camp.
Saturday, September 27 or Sunday, September 28
This day is an excellent opportunity to
spend with your family or Den, watching
the fall colors changing.
There will be
staff available to lead hikes, or you
may take a hike on your own. Staff led
hikes will depart at 10:00 am, 12:00
noon, and 2:00 pm. These hikes will
last approximately 2 hours.
All hikers
must depart on any hike by 3:00 pm.
Please do not arrive after 3:00 pm.
We will also have a staff-led boundary trail
hike (12 mile hike) for those interested.
Please register for this hike separately
from the color hike. The boundary trail
hike will depart at 10:00 am and will
not return to Camp Nicol until 5:00 pm.
All Hikes will depart from the Jack
Nicol Cub Scout Family Camp Office at
the Ben Delatour Scout Ranch.
Families are welcome.
Cost for Fall Color Hike:
$5.00 per participant (youth or adult)
Cost includes patch and snacks at the end of your hike.
Participants must bring their own sack lunch, water bottle and rain gear.
Saturday, October 4 or Sunday, October 5
This opportunity is open to all newly registered
Tiger Cubs and their Partners. It is a
fun filled day at Jack Nicol Cub Scout Family
Camp. Activities include BB guns, Archery,
Wrist Rockets, Arts and Crafts, Disc
Golf, Mountain Croquet, Nature and more!
Cost for Tiger Cub Adventure Day:
$5.00 per participant (Scouts and adults)
Lunch will be provided and all participants will receive a patch at the end of the day!
Schedule - Saturday, October 4th:
- Registration begins at 9:00 am
- Program begins at 10:00 am
- Lunch will be served from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm
- All programs will be completed by 4:00 pm
Schedule - Sunday, October 5th:
- Registration begins at 11:30
- Lunch will be served from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm
- Program begins at 12:30 pm
- All programs will be completed by 6:00 pm
CUB SCOUT HAUNTED WEEKENDS
October 10-12 October 17-19 October 24-26
This is a family camping or Den camping weekend. All activities take place on Saturday, but families and Dens are invited to camp Friday night and/or Saturday night.
You must provide
your own camping equipment; the tents at
Camp Nicol are not up in October.
Activities
on Saturday include: BB guns, Archery,
Wrist Rockets, a hike to the
old gravesite, crafts, pumpkin
carving, disc golf, mountain
croquet costume contest and
the Haunted Castle! Activities
are age appropriate for most
age levels. Bring the entire
family!
Meals are provided on the following
schedule:
- All get lunch and dinner on Saturday;
- If you check-in on Friday by 9:00 pm you will get breakfast on Saturday
- If you stay Saturday night you will get a continental breakfast on Sunday
All participants will receive a patch.

- Once you submit your registration (Online or Paper Method) you are responsible for the fees for everyone you have registered.
- The non-refundable fee on all Fall Weekend Activities is 25% of the cost.
- There are no refunds for no-shows.
- Cancellations made more than 30 calendar days prior to the session will receive a full refund, less the non-refundable amount.
- Cancellations made 14 to 30 calendar days prior to the session will receive 1/2 of the balance less the non-refundable amount.
- Cancellations made less than 14 calendar days prior to the session are not refundable in any amount.
- Refunds for cancellations due to medical reasons will be considered with a letter from the doctor stating the medical reason for the participants inability to attend.
