Dear Fellow Scouter:

This summer your Pack will have the opportunity to participate in the charter year of the new Cub Scout Family Camp. From the information on this website, I hope you can see what a fun place it will be. I would like to let you know about a way in which you and/or your Pack can become a permanent part of this exciting new facility built just for Cub Scouts and their families.

An exciting part of the development of the Cub Scout Family Camp is a plan to offer Scouters and units the opportunity to “own a piece of your camp”. Here’s how that works.

The Cub Scout Family Camp has been “platted” into 500 one square yard lots. These 500 lots are offered on a first-come basis for $100 each. This offering is for Scouters and units of the Longs Peak Council only. The “buyer” will receive a commemorative “deed” listing the lot location and other information. A lot map will be permanently located near camp headquarters showing all of the “lots” and their “owners”. Remember, this should NOT replace your Friends of Scouting support.

Scouters and units can download and complete the pledge card and return it as soon as possible. After the 500 lots are “sold” there will be no more offered.
