Forestry Field Day

- Come see forestry operations
including tree cutting, skidding,
and milling.
- Receive hands-on education
about how trees
grow and how to identify
different trees.
- See how we care for our forests to keep them healthy.
- Take part in a project that benefits the
forest.
- Learn how fire is a part of our ecosystem
and how we use it to benefit the forest.
- Earn your Forester Badge (Webelos) or your Forestry Merit Badge (Scouts).

| Cost: | Cost for the day is $3.00 - pay at the event |
| Times: | Boy Scouts should report to the Shelter at Camp Soaring Eagle at 10:00am.
Webelos should report at the same location at 11:00am.
The event will finish by 4:00pm.Adults must stay with their youth the entire day. |
| Registration: | Register by April 7th.
To register email Cindy at CampRegistration@longspeakbsa.org Include the following information:
- Pack or Troop #
- Scouts Names
- Adult contact Name
- Adult contact Phone Number
- Adult contact Email

| Bring: | Dress for cool weather and bring a lunch, water, pencil or pen and a desire to learn.
Boy Scouts please bring a completed merit badge card. Each person (youth and adults) needs to bring a sack lunch.
