Important Popcorn Dates - 2011
- Sat, July 23 -- Council Popcorn Kickoff
- July and August -- District Kickoffs (if you miss the Council Kickoff, visit your district calendar to find your local district kickoff date and location)
- August 31 -- Last day to place online orders for Show n Deliver popcorn
- Sat, September 10 -- Sale Begins
- Sat, September 10 -- 1st popcorn pickup for Show n Deliver
- Sat, September 17 -- 2nd date for Show n Deliver popcorn pickup
- Sat, October 15 -- Popcorn sale ends
(UNIT CHAIRS - set your unit turn in date for your Scouts AFTER the 15th, let them sell through the 15th. Ask Scouts to give you their take orders on the 16th, giving you time to process orders & chase down missing orders) - Sat, October 22 -- Return leftover Show n Deliver popcorn
- Tuesday, October 25 - Final Orders Due -- (popcorn & prizes due to district offices - Prize orders placed after this date will be charged to the unit account, this includes prize changes & additions.)
- Sat, November 12 -- Pick up take order popcorn
- December 6 -- Final Popcorn payment due

Please fill out the spreadsheets on your computer if you have access to Excel. It makes it easier for everyone, eliminates math mistakes and is easy to update.

To initially qualify as a Participating Scout, an applicant must: (a) be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America; (b) have sold a minimum $2,500.00 in retail sales for a given Sale Period. Please see the guidelines for more infomation pertaining to this scholarship.
