By making a $1,000.00 contribution to the council's endowment program (in addition to your Friends of Scouting contribution), you can honor a worthy individual and help create a lasting legacy to promote scouting into the next millennium.

Some units have chosen to gather contributions from families who are currently involved or have previously been involved with the unit, from unit sponsors or even from family members and friends of the honored scout or scouter. The award itself includes a handsome citation suitable for presentation at awards dinners or courts of honor as well as a square knot for uniform wear.
