- What: BSA Lifeguard is designed to help provide troops and crews with qualified supervision for aquatics outings.
- When: 2010 dates have not been set.
- Prerequisites:
- Participants must be age 14 or older
- Able to swim 400 yardsyards, including the following strokes: elementary backstroke,
breaststroke, sidestroke, and either the crawl or trudgen.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Canoeing or Rowing Merit Badge.
- Must be able to surface dive to the bottom of 12 feet of water.
- Bring: A sack lunch each day

- What: BSA Lifeguard Counselor is designed to train adults to become Lifeguard instructors and go back and train their youth as lifeguards
- Who: Adult Scouters 21 and older
- When: See Above - Offered as part of the BSA Lifeguard Course

Current BSA Lifeguard or equivalent - or take the BSA Lifeguard Course above
